So the cazy season is over an it time to catch up with lots and lots of shoots. Marcel is a model I spoke to about part of a black and white set I want to work on over 2015 using different models (but I’ll talk about that latter).
Steffen has been to the studio several times with his costumes. He has built some of the best Star Wars costumes I have ever seen, this time he was all excited to get shot in his movie accurate spider-man outfit. Unfortunately the night before the shoot he burst the zippier and couldn’t get it repaired in time. I had just finished shooting Jasmine doing her yoga and hand stands when he arrived and thought hay keep the same light set up, shoot white on white and have some fun with it.
I’m working a a few projects for local fitness trainer Moritz from “BASIS Karlsruhe” at the moment, he needs some high resolution photos for life sizes print. And his first request was a handstand….
I remember the first time I saw a the original Sunpak 120J I knew that they had me in mind when they designed it, but it just sold for crazy money second hand on E-Bay. Then a while ago several flash manufactures caught onto the idea and started making barebulb strobes in the similar style and you could say a few generation of flash was born…..
I have had a Roundflash for a while now and enjoy its portability, ease of use and simplicity. But the funny thing is I actually end up using it off camera more then on camera, like a consolable soft-box, which is how the new version is designed to be used.
