This week I was in the studio with Elena Sophie and Thorsten as I wanted to have some new material to blog. Most the stuff I have been shooting over the last 6 months has either been private shoots or product shoots, so my own personal ranting and raving (aka blog) was neglected over this period. My concept for the shoot was a minimalist lighting look with one 60x80cm soft-box in close and if needed 1 other light source.

I have had several shoots with Sunny over the years. She was one of the first people I photographed when we opened the old studio. She was one of the first modeled for one of the first Friday night shoots so it was a great to shoot together again. Unfortunately due to bad weather we couldn’t get out to shoot at our planed location, so it was back into the studio again this week. I have been having a lot of fun with my 2013 project, unfortunately I’m going away for the next few weeks so I wont have the chance to shoot in the studio. But this week I was shooting with Rockabella Kat as model and Snow White as guest photographer.
Kat did a fantastic job modelling for the first time she quickly adapted to the new situation and put in a lot of effort.

My Monday night shoot this week was with Lulu and Steffen. The concept was to do a high-key based shoot with strip-lights in different positions. I took lighting ideas from past shoots and mixed them up to match the look I wanted to achieve.
