I have shot together a few times with Carola this year, and a few months ago she suggested that Alessandro wanted to do something different.
We shot another evening where the model transforms over the evening. Starting off with a relatively normal shoot that changed styles over the next several hours. I wanted to keep a few things constant, although the models appearance was constantly changing I tried to keep the lighting constant so that all the images had a connection. The easiest way to do this was with a 1 light set up, a large softbox (camera left) one a mobile light stand, and a full body reflector camera right.
There were several steeps to the transformation each of which had their own special look and feel. This gave each part of the shoot an special look but took it’s time, from start to finish we were almost 8 hours in the studio
I was amazed how mush enthusiasm and energy every one had until the very end… Thanks to every one involved for such a great shoot.
The final look was a fantastic mix of styles reminiscent of several designers. Mixing extravagant baroque and modern street wear.
