After a lot of blogging last week I’m taking it a bit easier this week. ~ToXic~Trash~ is a local cyber-goth so it is time to get into the studio and do some crazy lighting.
Jana the Jedi girl joined me again for a shoot based on back-lighting.. ~ToXic~Trash~ bought 2 costumes with him we shot one costume so it looks mystic, and for the other costume i wanted to do something similar to the movie poster “Killing them Softly” (well only as far as posing and lighting) .
The glowing ball in the photos is actually long shinny glow sticks joined together to form a sphere. And in a lot of the photos it was suspended tom a large boom arm via a very thin fishing line.
The Lighting concept was back light as the key light source, we used reflectors and fill and a colour gels for a few photos. The top photos were shot with a 400ws Bowens Gemini fitted with a small reflector directly behind the model. the second set was shot with a large strip-light attached horizontally to the roof.
