Stefanie

This week my plan was to only work with a large Octo-Box. But as things always work out I ended up getting carried away but it was a lot of fun. Stefanie modelled and  Andreas joined me as part of my 2013 project.

We started off with a large octo box 45° camera left then camera right. After shooting with octobox in a few different location we moved on to a ring light and colour gels on a glittery background. Rather than just shooting through the ring light we placed it on a boom arm and placed it in close to Stefanie to create a shallow depth of field and bright bokeh. There were to many quick changes with the large octo-box, but here are a few of the lighting set ups we used.

  1. Dear Scott! Thank you very much for having me invited to your MondayNightShoot. Making my very first steps in a photo studio it was simply fun to do and try things out, learning basics about light and composing. Honestly looking at my shots now I realize that I totally missed giving any instructions to Stephanie, being to busy playing around with my camera 🙂 Anyway it was a great evening and I’m looking forward to go on and make use of your advices. Best wishes and greetings from Pfinztal. ANDREAS P.S. Thx for posting my URL on your page.
