This time the Friday night shoot was called Apocalipstick, it was a kind of mix up of a variety of themes e.g Kill Bill, Tank-Girl, Serenity, Sucker-Punch etc. My concept behind the look for the models was “I want you… I want to kill you”
I started of with 9 models who said they would love to take part but ended up with 3 at the shoot, due to sickness. The lighting concept was to have 1 medium soft-box set camera left and high (basically in a Rembrandt lighting position) and leave it there over the whole night. This gave a constant lighting style for each set up, only hair lights, colour gels and any effects would be changed through out the night.

As the night went on thing got crazy with everyone getting involved as characters in the shoot. But for me the highlight was getting to shoot with a Mamiya 28mpx Medium format camera most of the night …. Thanks John
